Dell Inspiron i5578 Various Convertible 2-in-1 Laptop Models Review

Dell Inspiron i5578 is a 15 inch convertible 2-in-1 laptop belongs to Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Series laptops. We have many variants of this model with different specifications. So, in this general review we are going to talk about all different variants of Dell i5578 model. So, lets see them.

This is a stylish and premium looking model with attractive and thin design. Features small backlit keyboard but keys are well spaced and a large trackpad. Weighs around 4.5 pounds and is about 0.8 inch thin. Overall, design is good and with the help of hinge, you can use this laptop in different modes without any hassle.

All variants feature 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS Truelife LED-Backlit Touch Display with Wide viewing angles. Full HD display with Trulife display technology is a good display choice for their price. At the time of this review, the least model, i.e., Dell Inspiron i5578 (Intel Core i5, 4GB RAM, 500 GB HDD) model is priced around $600 and a Full HD display for that price is accepted. So, you are getting the best display.

Hight quality camera is important for an everyday convertible laptop, so all these models feature an HD camera with integrated microphone and IR Camera. IR camera is a pro feature for these variants. It unlocks your device using facial recognition. So, if you want a laptop with more security, you should buy any one of these models. For better audio output, these models use Waves MaxxAudio technology. In Dell laptops, Waves MaxxAudio is common.

Connectivity options are very basic and lacks few ports like LAN port and display port. Convertible laptops always feature basic connectivity options, so we can't complain about them. You are getting two USB 3.0 ports and Multi-format SD card reader which are good connectivity to get. You can also enjoy better WiFi connectivity with 802.11 ac WiFi adapter. Overall, connectivity can be accepted for these convertible laptops.
